๐ Home Prices Hold Steady โ Florida home prices remained flat month-over-month, showing a cooling trend after a heated spring. However, prices are still up 2.2% year-over-year, reflecting steady demand. ๐ ๐ต
๐ Inventory Rises Slightly โ Active listings were up 6% from June, giving buyers a bit more breathing room โ especially in new construction communities. That said, inventory remains 20% below pre-pandemic levels, keeping competition tight in many areas. ๐๏ธ
๐ฐ Mortgage Rates Yo-Yo โ After briefly dipping in early July, rates climbed back to an average of 6.87% by monthโs end. Buyers are still rate-conscious, but motivated shoppers continue to act quickly on well-priced homes. ๐โโ๏ธ๐จ
๐ Buyer Activity Slows (Slightly) โ Showings per listing and mortgage applications dipped mid-July due to summer travel and uncertainty around interest rates โ but agents are still reporting serious buyers in the market. ๐๐
